Let's stay in Canada, move from Ottawa some hundreds miles west towards Toronto, but most importan, move back to the future.
Over the moltitude of Canadian bands blossoming around, there are some that are worth a mention.

Tokyo Police Club are one of the freshest indie band around, their captivating mix of simple guitar riffs and quick keyboards hooks made me think of Death Cab for Cutie partying with the Strokes.

Quite far from the pompous rock of Canadian vein, these guys enjoy playing for the sakes of it, as they demonstrated in a packed Barfly venue in Cambridge, one of the latest gig hosted there before it was shut.

Come back in few days to enjoy their pictures and keep discussing about Canada and pop music.
